DST Getting A Street Sign

For Greeks reading this blog, I'm pretty sure that you all are aware of Delta Sigma Theta (DST) Sorority, Incorporated earning a street sign on New Hampshire Avenue in Washington D.C. Check out the picture below:
For those of you who do not know, New Hampshire Avenue is the street that Delta Sigma Theta's headquarters and Zeta Phi Beta (ZPhiB) Sorority, Incorporated's headquarters are located. Soon after the news of DST's accomplishment surfaced, major shade was being thrown between DST and ZPhiB. As a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, I would like to congratulate the ladies of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated on celebrating 100 years of existence and for earning their street sign. To my sorors of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, in seven years, we will have the opportunity to celebrate our 100 years of Scholarship, Service, Sisterly Love, and Finer Womanhood. But, until then, let's congratulate DST on celebrating their centennial. To both organizations, let's not throw shade and down each other over something trivial as a street sign. As black women, we must congratulate each other on our accomplishments. Until my next post, see you later. :-)
